PENNY FROM THE SKY

2019 October 17th UPDATE:  Penny From The Sky is in training and doing well at Zia Park. If all goes well we could be looking to run him later in the Zia Park meet. I will let you know once he begins to start working.

2019 January 16th UPDATE: - Penny from the Sky has just turn two and will be coming into Frontera to be broken later this month. This will be the first step of many on her journey toward the starting gate later this year. The journey begins - Good luck to us!

Penny from the Sky is a yearling (Born 2016) bred by Masino Racing and sired by one of Joe Masino's past winning colts and now stallion, Ten A Penny.  Jazz Town is out of Wooden Sky who is also Masino Racing Broodmare who had a promising career under Joe's guidance before having her racing career cut short by injury.  Penny from the Sky is currently in the barn of longtime New Mexico trainer Bart Hone who has handled all of the Wooden Sky's offsprings, including Masino Racing current runner Princess Jazz.  Penny from the Sky will be spending most of 2018 just being a horse and growing before having Bart take her through the breaking process later in the year.
