King of the Moon is galloping well over the track at Sunland Park where the meet will open on January 5th. Bart said he seems to enjoy the new surface and is doing well.  We look forward to his first work over the track in January and then the starting gate. I will keep you posted as get a little closer to a breeze.

 

Thanksgiving UPDATE - King of the Moon is back at the training center (Frontera), near Sunland Park. Bart said he is looking good and jogging on the track. I will have Bart send some photos in the near future and plan to hopefully be at Sunland Park in January or February.

 

October 1 UPDATE - Bart said this morning they will look at King of the Moon in the next couple of weeks or so. The vet and Bart will be at the farm at that time and we hope to the green light to start him back into tack walking and jogging later in October. I will keep you updated on his return.
